By using Steelie, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Steelie is a software-as-a-service platform that allows users to:

  • Create repair estimates
  • Create invoices
  • Create work orders
  • Store customer and vehicle information
  • Upload photos and documentation
  • Manage repair records

Steelie is a software tool only. Steelie does not perform repairs or guarantee repair outcomes.

2. User Accounts

You must create an account to use Steelie.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Maintain security of your account
  • Keep your password confidential

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Steelie is not responsible for unauthorized access.

3. Subscription and Billing

Steelie offers paid subscriptions. Payments are processed through Stripe.

By subscribing, you agree:

  • To pay all subscription fees
  • To allow recurring billing
  • That billing occurs automatically

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

You may cancel at any time.

Cancellation prevents future billing but does not refund past payments.

4. No Refunds

All subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Steelie may offer refunds at its sole discretion.

5. User Data and Content

You retain ownership of all data you upload, including:

  • Customer information
  • Vehicle information
  • Photos
  • Estimates
  • Invoices
  • Work orders

You grant Steelie permission to store and process this data to provide the Service.

Steelie does not sell your data.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Steelie to:

  • Break any laws
  • Commit fraud
  • Upload illegal content
  • Upload malicious software
  • Attempt to hack or disrupt Steelie

Steelie may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

7. No Warranty

Steelie is provided "as is" and "as available."

Steelie makes no guarantees regarding:

  • Accuracy of estimates
  • Accuracy of calculations
  • Reliability
  • Availability

Steelie does not guarantee uninterrupted service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Steelie is not liable for:

  • Lost profits
  • Lost business
  • Lost data
  • Customer disputes
  • Incorrect estimates
  • Incorrect invoices
  • Repair errors
  • Business losses

Steelie's maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid Steelie in the last 12 months. If you paid nothing, Steelie has no liability.

9. User Responsibility

You are fully responsible for:

  • Your estimates
  • Your invoices
  • Your repair decisions
  • Your pricing
  • Your business operations

Steelie is a tool only. Steelie is not responsible for your business outcomes.

10. Data Loss

Steelie is not responsible for:

  • Data loss
  • Lost photos
  • Lost records

You are responsible for maintaining backups of critical information.

11. Service Availability

Steelie does not guarantee uptime. Service may be interrupted for:

  • Maintenance
  • Updates
  • Technical issues

Steelie is not liable for downtime.

12. Termination

Steelie may suspend or terminate accounts at any time for:

  • Violations of these Terms
  • Illegal activity
  • Abuse of the Service

You may terminate your account at any time.

13. Intellectual Property

Steelie owns all rights to the software.

You may not:

  • Copy Steelie
  • Reverse engineer Steelie
  • Resell Steelie
  • Modify Steelie

14. Third-Party Services

Steelie uses third-party providers including:

  • Payment processors
  • Cloud storage providers

Steelie is not responsible for third-party services.

15. Changes to Terms

Steelie may update these Terms. Continued use of Steelie means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

17. Dispute Resolution

Disputes will be resolved through:

  • Negotiation first
  • Then courts in your legal jurisdiction

18. Disclaimer of Professional Advice

Steelie does not provide:

  • Repair advice
  • Financial advice
  • Legal advice
